Quarterhill Announces Corporate Update

Toronto, October 4, 2024 - Quarterhill Inc. (“Quarterhill” or the “Company”) (TSX: QTRH), a leading provider of technology and intellectual property licensing solutions, today announced a corporate update regarding the formation of a Technical Advisory Committee.

The Company is pleased to announce the formation of a Technical Advisory Committee with two initial members, Bobby Parikh and Vineet Khosla. The committee has been established to provide guidance and advice on technical matters related to the Company’s business, including its patent portfolio and licensing strategies.

Bobby Parikh is a seasoned technology executive with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He has held various leadership roles, including serving as the Chief Technology Officer of a major technology company. Mr. Parikh brings a wealth of knowledge in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics, which are critical to Quarterhill’s business.

Vineet Khosla is a highly respected intellectual property attorney with extensive experience in patent law. He has advised clients on patent strategy, portfolio management, and licensing matters. Mr. Khosla’s expertise will be invaluable to Quarterhill as the Company continues to grow its patent portfolio and pursue licensing opportunities.

It is worth noting that Vineet Khosla will be joining the Technical Advisory Committee instead of the Board of Directors, as previously announced. This change reflects the Company’s desire to have a more focused and technical committee that can provide guidance on specific areas of the business.
