Poll: This Is Your Last Chance to Vote for Our PS5 Game of the Year 2024

Welcome, honored Push Square readers, to what is probably the most exciting poll of 2024. Yes, it’s that time again: it’s time to vote for our Game of the Year. We greatly value audience participation here at Push Square, and this Game of the Year poll really does matter. We’ve assembled a shortlist of 50 PS5 games (does that still count as a shortlist?), based on our own review scores and editorial opinions.

But before we get to the poll, let’s take a moment to reflect on what a fantastic year it’s been for gaming. The PS5 has proven itself to be a powerful and versatile console, with a wide range of games that have captured the hearts of players around the world. From blockbuster exclusives like God of War: Ragnarok and The Last of Us Part II, to indie hits like Hades and What Remains of Edith Finch, there’s something for everyone on Sony’s flagship console.

Now, without further ado, it’s time to unveil the shortlist for our Game of the Year poll. Drumroll please…

From action-packed shooters like Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Battlefield 2042, to strategic RPGs like Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition and Tales of Arise, there’s something for every type of player on this list.
